Walk On.

It is my intention through this project to create a walkway over the myer centre that makes it faster for pedestrians to travel over the centre then it is to go around of through it. This will be helped by the streets being turned into green spaces with the intention of lingering, and the retail traffic that exists on Queen Street. Still the route will need to be direct and easy for users. The route that is outlined in the concept of the design is more or less as direct as possible, so this will be followed. the slope will need to remain along this route, with no back and forward ramping or stairs that will cause pedestrians to take longer then necessary. The connections to the existing street will also need to be simple and wide enough to make entering the space easy and prevent any bottle necking of pedestrians.
