Tower Lobby

The lobby of the tower needs to have a connection to the space. It is not enough for the lobby to simply sit atop the public space with no connection to the rest of the space and the users of the space. There needs to be more then this. The lobby needs to be connected and open. Users of the space need to feel as if they can go into the lobby, and can explore the building. This is for the success of the public space and for the benefit of Nanotechnology in Brisbane. By making the public more aware of Nanotechnology, this industry will continue to grow in the state of Queensland, and will help to stimulate the economy. Bringing more money and jobs into the city of brisbane will also help to stimulate the changes in the city that were identified in assignment one.

This will be done by opening the lobby up to the public space in two separate places. This will increase awareness of the lobby, make the lobby be seen by more people, and also create a route from the public street over the myer centre to the train station that runs through the lobby.
